Impactors delivers workshop on practical AI use in the workplace

Impactors Consulting Services delivered a workshop, “Making the Most of ChatGPT in the Workplace”, hosted at WSAD, a shared workspace in Riyadh. 20 professionals attended, women and men, from various sectors.

The session was led by two members of the firm's team:
Abdullah Alsuhaibani, Consultant, and Firas Almoqhim, Business Analyst.

The workshop deliberately skipped the demonstration most people have already seen. It focused instead on what changes in daily work once these tools are in use: where they genuinely save time, where they produce text that reads correctly but isn't, and which tasks still require a person to verify the output before anything is decided on it.

Almost everyone in the room had already tried the tool. Few had turned trying it into a way of working. That gap is the whole subject, and it isn't a technology problem.

Abdullah Alsuhaibani, Consultant

The workshop extends a practice the firm already runs in public: Impactors publishes market analysis five times a week and a weekly briefing, The Baseline, in Arabic and Englis, and puts its frameworks and results on its website rather than holding them back for prosecutive clients.

We publish because we would rather be judged on our thinking than on our company profile. A room is simply the same commitment with the desks closer together.
